Geely has launched China’s first pure electrical outside life-style car model, Radar Auto, alongside the brand new model’s first electrical journey car, the RD6 pick-up truck. Radar Auto is a completely succesful unbiased model with its personal R&D facility in Hangzhou and a completely geared up EV manufacturing facility in Zibo, Shandong, from which it is going to start manufacturing and deliveries of the Radar RD6 within the fourth quarter of 2022.

Geely Holding has appointed Dr. Ling Shi Quan because the CEO of Radar Auto. Dr. Ling is a veteran engineering lead at Geely Auto Group and has taken accountability for a number of main milestone initiatives for the Geely Auto Group of manufacturers together with Lynk & Co and Geely Auto.

Horbury feedback: “The Radar product portfolio is focused on electric pick-up trucks and SUVs, this direction challenges us to mix functionality and usability with aesthetic form. Our aim is to let Radar users expand their horizons and explore nature in a sustainable way.”
