CHICAGO – Two 18-year-old Chicago men have been charged after allegedly carjacking a rideshare driver after which crashing the vehicle into a fire hydrant early Friday on Chicago’s North Side.
Hansen Dandridge Jr. is charged with one felony depend of receiving/possessing/stealing a vehicle, one felony depend of possession of a firearm with a defaced serial quantity, one felony depend of aggravated fleeing and one misdemeanor depend of firearm with legitimate FOID/Elig.
Cormarion Watkins is charged with one felony depend of vehicular hijacking with a firearm.
The two men have been recognized by police because the suspects who allegedly took a vehicle at gunpoint from a 65-year-old rideshare driver within the 1400 block of West Foster at about 12:35 a.m. Friday.
