MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A 12-year-old boy using an electrical scooter was hit by a automobile Thursday afternoon in Middletown, stated police.
At roughly 2:02 p.m. Thursday, Middletown Police responded to a motorized vehicle crash involving a automobile that struck a juvenile working an electrical scooter. The crash occurred the intersection of Cherry Tree Farm Road and Chanowich Court.
The juvenile, a 12-year-old male, of Middletown, was struck whereas the automobile was touring on Cherry Tree Farm Road. The juvenile was transported to Hackensack Meridan Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune by ambulance.
