Tributes paid to ‘beloved’ cancer survivor, 29, who died after shedding management and falling from an e-scooter he was driving alongside a cycle lane

A younger man who survived cancer has tragically died whereas driving an e-scooter alongside a cycle lane.
Scott Wilson, 29, from Leeds, West Yorkshire, was critically injured in the collision in his residence metropolis on Saturday, April 23.
Today, his household introduced that he sadly succumbed to his accidents on Friday, April 26 – six days after the crash.
Paying tribute, Scott’s mum Linda Wilson stated: ‘It is with nice unhappiness my beloved son misplaced his life after shedding management on his electrical scooter.
‘He was solely 29 years of age and fought leukaemia, had each hips changed and one shoulder alternative due to all of the chemotherapy.’

Scott was seen driving his e-scooter in a cycle lane subsequent to Harehills Lane in Leeds shortly earlier than the accident.
According to studies, he was hurled from the saddle after shedding management of the machine. No different car was concerned.
He is considered one of solely a handful of Britons to die thus far in the electrical scooter craze.

Tragically, three individuals – all e-scooter riders – had been killed. The DfT estimates that 253 had been significantly injured, and 675 slight accidents.
West Yorkshire police stated on the time: ‘At 7.45pm on Saturday, police had been contacted by the ambulance service who had been attending a highway site visitors collision in York Road, Leeds.’
‘The rider of an electrical scooter had misplaced management and fallen from the car whereas travelling in a cycle lane close to to the junction with Harehills Lane. No different car was concerned.’
‘The 29-year-old man acquired life-threatening accidents and was taken to hospital for remedy.’
