“We are generally bullish on US rideshare, and believe that as the North American pure play, LYFT stands to benefit from similar secular growth tailwinds as Uber,” wrote Black in a analysis be aware. “However, as the sub-scale player, and relatively limited product surface area, we think both topline growth and steady state margins will lag those of Uber. As such, we argue that LYFT should trade at a modest valuation discount to Uber’s Rideshare business.”
