NEWARK, De – The University of Delaware mentioned it is investigating a reported sexual assault that allegedly occurred on campus in an Uber driver’s vehicle.
The University of Delaware Police Department mentioned that the incident occurred Sunday morning in the car parking zone of Redding Residence Hall.
“When using any rideshare agency, always check the vehicle to make sure it’s the correct one, have the driver tell you their name and make sure someone always knows where you are,” the division mentioned in a message to college students.
No data was offered on the sufferer or a doable suspect.
The division suggests rideshare customers wait in a secure location, comply with together with GPS, share their trip with others, and by no means pay with money.
