A 60-year-old man died and his 4 different members of the family sustained burn accidents in a fire that broke out of their room in Sector 44, Gurugram after the battery of an electric-two wheeler exploded on Thursday evening. Police stated that the e-battery of the two-wheeler exploded whereas it was on charging.
The motive behind the explosion is but to be ascertained and two victims are severely essential. The incident occurred round 11 pm when Suresh Sahu, his spouse Reena and three kids, Manoj, Saroj and Anuj have been sleeping of their small room in Kanhai village. Sahu, who suffered 70 per cent of burn accidents, died on the spot.
When the battery exploded inside their room, the blankets and different belongings like garments and TV set shortly caught fire and unfold to the whole room, reported the Hindustan Times (HT).
