WEST HAVEN — The lawyer for the household of Mubarak Soulemane has filed a lawsuit against town of West Haven, metropolis officers and state troopers involved in the 2020 deadly shooting of the teenager.
Attorney Mark Arons filed the suit Tuesday in Superior Court in New Haven. He mentioned the lawsuit was wanted to protect the two-year statute of limitations for negligence claims against the officers.
The household of 19-year-old Soulemane filed a declare in February 2020 indicating they’d search $10 million in damages.
