AN E-SCOOTER rider who assaulted a police officer who was making an attempt to flag him down has been jailed.
George Vakis was seen driving up and down in London Road, Bexhill at 6.30pm on August 3 whereas officers handled a separate matter.
An officer recognised the 19-year-old and walked in direction of him and directed him to cease.
