A lady was injured Friday when a car struck the motorized scooter she was driving eastbound on the 100 block of West Hensley Boulevard.
She was touring eastbound, approaching Johnstone Avenue, at 10:40 a.m. when a person in a automotive struck the scooter from behind. She was transported to Ascension St. John Jane Phillips for therapy of her accidents, Bartlesville Police Capt. Jay Hastings stated.
The male driver was cited for inattentive driving. Neither celebration was recognized.
Hastings stated the girl was driving a privately-owned motorized scooter, not a rideshare scooter operated by Bird or Lime.
